Founder’s Lizard Of Koz

Founders Lizard Of Koz

This one is near and dear to our hearts. Brewmaster Jeremy Kosmicki wanted to make the birthday of his little sister, Liz, a special one. So he did what he does best and brewed a stout using a few of her favorite ingredients: fresh Michigan blueberries, rich chocolate and vanilla aged in bourbon barrels to round out those beautiful flavors. Liz was floored and we think you will be too.

Deep black color with a thick dark caramel head.

Intense fruity flavor with lots of blueberries, bourbon, cocoa, dark fruits, vanilla beans, licorice, roasted malts, cola.

Full body with perfect carbonation. Stick feeling. Alcohol of 10.5% abv

State Minimum Sale on Kendall Jackson Ends Wednesday!!
The amazing price on Kendall Jackson Chardonnay and Summation Red is almost over. For $10.01, you can get a bottle of 91 point Chardonnay (Wine Spectator- March 2017). That is the lowest price you can buy it legally in Michigan!! One bottle or ten cases, we have no limit on this item, but it ends Wednesday night.

Like you Chardonnay a little more “buttery”? La Crema Chardonnay is $13.99 through Wednesday. Good luck finding that one at a lower price, either.

There is no better time to stock up on great summer Chardonnays (and a tasty red blend too)

Founders Taproom coming to Detroit

Founders Brewing Company is reportedly opening a taproom in Detroit.

Crain’s Detroit Business reports that the Grand Rapids brewery responsible for some of Michigan’s most iconic craft beer is opening the taproom in Detroit’s fast-developing Midtown neighborhood.

A 12,000-square-foot building currently sits at the proposed site on Charlotte Street. The reported location is about a 5-minute walk away from Little Caesars Arena where the Red Wings and Pistons will play next season.

The report cites unnamed sources, but if the expansion does occur, it will mark Founders first in a city other than Grand Rapids since it was founded by Dave Engbers and Mike Stevens in 1997.
Founders, Bell’s to flow at Chicago White Sox stadium

An official announcement from the brewery is expected on Tuesday, April 25, according to Crain’s.

Founders expanded its Grand Rapids taproomat 235 Grandville Ave SW, in 2014. The $25 million project doubled its beer-making capacity to 600,000 barrels. Already a player in the national craft beer scene, it appears Founders is ready to take another step with a jump to Detroit.
